We have now re-opened in our new location and are officially wheelchair accessible again!! How we have missed you these past two years<3

This new space is also shared with Heart & Hands Health Collective, a grassroots sliding-scale care clinic offering community acupuncture, cupping & gua sha, somatic sex education, therapeutic massage, counselling, and more. We are honoured to be co-creating sanctuary with these hardworking, compassionate humans and this partnership will see us rooting further into our values around community care.

Covid: Our apothecary & shop will be nestled alongside the Heart & Hands reception area. Masks are mandatory for any community acupuncture treatments and strongly encouraged in the rest of the space. GMH staff will be wearing masks. Should you forget yours and wish to participate in valuing our immunocompromised community in this way, they will be available by sliding scale donation, just inside the main door. Please also help yourself to the housemade Mugwort & Rosemary alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

Please note: if you are actively experiencing any symptoms, please do not enter and instead take advantage of either our online catalogue, curbside pick-up, or local contactless delivery options.

In addition to masking, common surfaces will be regularly sanitized. Hands will be washed often, especially before preparing your medicines and a sink has been installed within the apothecary specifically for this purpose. We will continue to have our HEPA air purifier with UV capabilities running during shop hours and burning antimicrobial herbs as incense, as well.

Scents: We will continue to not use commercial or synthetic scented cleaning products and staff do not wear synthetic perfumes. However, we do carry over 400 dried herbs which emit a general herbal fragrance. We also regularly burn herbs as incense, usually at the beginning or ending of the day (Rosemary, Mugwort, Bay Laurel).
